Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!
Sometimes, we find ourselves unable to take a step outside of our comfort zone. However, it’s not about comfort, we’re scared and afraid. The fear of uncertainty about the future and what will happen to us once we take that step.
Fear is an essential and vital part of growth! When we gather the courage to step outside of our comfort zone, we become comfortable with things that make us uncomfortable, which helps us to take an even bigger step next time!
We understand that it’s difficult to bring ourselves to take that step. So, here are 4 ways in which you can mentally prepare yourself to step out of your comfort zone:
1. Start with small steps by switching up some parts of your routine. You could style your hair in a different way, try a new fashion style, using a new route to work, go to a new restaurant, etc.
2. Make it a habit to try something new and to get out of your comfort zone!
3. Try different approaches towards the new task until you feel you are no longer scared of it! Take baby steps towards the fear you are trying to overcome!
4. Replace your thoughts with empowering ones! Repeat “I am fearless!” over and over again until you feel empowered to start something you are uncomfortable with!
